KRIS Aquino on Friday filed a cyberlibel complaint before the Department of Justice (DOJ) against the brother of his former business partner Nicko Falcis.
“We filed a criminal case for cyberlibel against Atty. Jesus Falcis because of the malicious and defamatory statements made against Ms. Kris Aquino,” said lawyer Enrique dela Cruz.
The lawyer explained they filed their complaint before the National Prosecution Service (NPS). They want Jesus Falcis be charged with nine counts of cyberlibel.
Meanwhile, Aquino denied allegations made by Jesus that she threatened Nicko who has yet to return to the Philippines.
“Kung feeling ninyo na may grave threats talaga akong ginawa, (If you think I made threats against Nicko) file a case against me,” she dared.
Aquino had a falling out with Nicko whom she accused of stealing money from her.
She already filed multiple complaints against Nicko whom she lamented has not responded by filing counter-affidavits.
“To this day hindi nagfi-file ng counter-affidavit e dalawang buwan na ako naghihintay (Up to now they have not filed a counter-affidavit and I have been waiting for two months now),” she noted. (JEFFREY G. DAMICOG)
