The first company to announce an LPG price reduction was Eastern Petroleum Corp. for its EC Gas brand.
Eastern Petroleum will reduce prices Saturday at 6 a.m. The other players in the LPG sector are anticipated to follow their competitor’s lead.
Based on the monitoring of the Department of Energy, the pickup price for EC LPG prior to this adjustment was P754 to P785 per cylinder depending on where it is being retailed.
The Gasul brand of major oil player Petron Corp. was priced from P685 to P695 per tank while Solane LPG of Isla Gas was sold at P697 to P705 per tank before this round of price reductions.
Phoenix Petroleum’s LPG brand was being sold prior to this adjustment at P650 to P685 per tank while Liguigaz’s ranged from P630 to P689 per cylinder.
