THE Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) has junked the appeal of three cadets who were earlier ordered expelled for forcing two plebes to perform oral sex on each other.
Chief Supt. Chiquito Malayo, PNPA superintendent, confirmed that the Academy Board that received the motion for reconsideration filed by a Cadet 2nd Class (third year) and two 3rd Class (second year) indeed upheld the earlier decision to kick out the three.
“The Motion for Reconsideration was denied,” Malayo said.
“It’s final and executory but they can still appeal,” he added.
The appeal could be filed before the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) which has supervision and control over the PNPA.
In October this year, two rookie PNPA cadets filed a complaint before the academy officials, alleging that three of their upperclassmen forced them to perform oral sex on each other at the back of their barracks.
The incident has resulted in the relief of Chief Supt. Joseph Adnol as PNPA superintendent.
Adnol, a PNPA graduate, was replaced by Malayo, a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy.
An investigation was conducted. Last month, the three cadets were ordered dismissed from the PNPA for violating at least two offenses from the PNPA Rules and Regulations.
The PPSC could overturn or upheld the decision of the PNPA with regard to the dismissal of the cadets. (Aaron Recuenco)
