Defending champion Arellano University extended its winning streak to six games with a 25-13, 25-18, 25-15 triumph over Letran yesterday in the NCAA women’s volleyball at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Lady Chiefs needed only an hour to wrap up the match as they dazzled their rivals with variety of heavy spikes and solid serves.
Princess Bello and Carla Donato made their presence felt by leading Arellano with 13 and 12 points, while Regine Arocha fired seven kills and made one block to finish with eight points.
The Arellano Chiefs also sizzled in men’s action with a 25-13, 25-20, 25-15 win over the Letran Knights to improve to 5-1.
