A 29-year-old man and three female minors were apprehended form possession of sachets of illegal drugs worth P950,000, a hand grenade, and a pistol during a buy bust operation in Quezon City on New Year’s eve.
Personnel of Quezon City Police District Masambong Police Station (PS-2) arrested the suspect Andrei Suhil, 29, known as Bordek, a resident of Barangay Commonwealth.
Suhil’s three female companions aged 14, 16, and 17 were rescued in the same operation.
It appears that Suhil was included in Directorate for Intelligence watchlist under Coplan Banahaaw and was responsible in the proliferation of shabu in some barangays in Quezon City.
Police report showed that members of PS-2 Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a drug sting against Suhil inside his house at No. 32 Katipunan Street around 2:30 a.m.
An undercover was able to transact with the suspect which resulted in his arrest.
Aside from the illegal drugs and grenade, authorities seized a weighing scale and the marked money.
Suhil is now under custody of Masambong Police Station and will be facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, and for unlawful possession of explosives.#
