LIAN, Batangas – A 38-year-old businesswoman was shot dead by an unidentified gunman while aboard her car here Tuesday, New Year’s Day.
The Batangas Police Provincial Office reported that the victim, Annalisa Agustin, a resident of Barangay Malaruhatan, this town, was declared dead on arrival at the Apacible Memorial Hospital in Nasugbu, this province, after being shot in the head.
Police said the victim, along with her daughter and niece, was on board a Honda CRV and waiting for the gate to be opened when she was shot by the suspect from behind at around 11:35 p.m.
Police launched a manhunt against the suspect who was wearing a black shirt, pants, and a black cap.
