Three days before PBA Season 44 opener, a special event at The Tent Solaire Resort and Casino will be held with league officials, coaches and players making themselves available to the media and fans.
“It’s Media Day but it isn’t limited to our dear friends from the sports media,” said PBA commissioner Willie Marcial.
All 12 teams will put up kiosks where their coaches, key players and incoming rookies will grant interviews and meet-and-greet sessions with the fans from 1-5 p.m.
Earlier on Jan. 8 at Conrad Hotel in Pasay City, the 12 teams present their official lineups during the official launch of the new season that unwraps on Jan. 13 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
PBA board chairman Ricky Vargas and the rest of the members of the league board are expected to be present in the event.
