THERE is more to Dennis Trillo than being your run-of-the-mill heartthrob.
Sure, he exudes hotness with his bad boy looks (replete with oh-so-yummy washboard abs) but unknown to many, this awarded actor is also a natural-born rocker.
Dennis himself revealed in past interviews how he would have pursued a life in music had showbiz not beckoned.
To those not in the know, prior to romancing many of showbiz’ hottest women including the likes of Bianca King and Cristine Reyes, Dennis was pounding the skins for underground punk/ska band Moyg.
As if to remind fans of his beginnings, Dennis allowed them glimpse of his drumming prowess playing “The World I Know” by Collective Soul, “Plush” by The Stone Temple Pilot, and Black Sabbath’s “War Pig” together with an assembly of musicians in a recent Instagram post.
The videos gained positive response.
Someone wrote, “Wow! Sobrang talented mo talaga.”
Another chimed, “Wow galing sobra. Gawa na kayo banda nyo.”
A netizen added, “Kaya crush ko tong si Dennis e.”
“Wow galing! Nakakamiss ang pagkanta at pagdrums mo… Sa talent mo na iyan ako humanga sayo maliban sa akting at pagiging pogi mo. Oh diba?! Sayang wala na SOP, Party Pilipinas atbp. ngayon kung saan nakasama ka,” said another.
More fans shared their two cents with some even offering unsolicited advice.
“Maganda sana kaya lang bitin. Bakit hindi kayo gumawa ng sarili nyo video para sa buong kanta at gumawa ng sarili nyo utube. Good idea di ba?!”
“You should have a concert!”
“Guest na po sa ‘Studio 7’ duet sila ni Jennylyn Mercado, please?”
