It will be the turn of Kaya-Iloilo to make its debut in the AFC Cup when it battles Lao Toyota at the National Stadium in Vientiane, Laos.
Back in the continental competition for the first time since 2016, Kaya is out to make a strong impression in the match set at 7:30 p.m. Philippine time.
Kaya secured qualification to the AFC Cup after winning the inaugural staging of the Copa Paulino Alcantara last October.
The Ilonggos head to the tournament without their longtime mainstays Robert Lopez Mendy, Miguel Tanton and Antonio Ugarte who signed with different clubs. (Jonas Terrado)
