There is a low chance of a tropical cyclone developing in Philippine waters this month.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, most of the country will have warm and humid weather in the next few days due to the warm and moist winds coming from the Pacific.
PAGASA said the easterlies will particularly affect Visayas and Mindanao.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar, Southern Leyte, and the entire Mindanao.
However, the public is advised to be on alert for possible flooding or landslide over low-lying or mountainous areas during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have generally fair weather.
Generally way below average rainfall to below average rainfall is expected in most parts of the country this month.
In addition, generally near average to slightly warmer than average temperature, especially the nighttime temperature, can be expected. (Ellalyn V. Ruiz)
