CAMP OLA, Albay – Suspected shabu valued at P18 million were seized from two Nigerians and a Filipina in separate buy-bust operations in Naga City on Black Saturday and Easter Sunday.
Police Major Malu Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Philippine National Police Regional Office 5, identified the suspects as Nigerian businessman Azubuike Obiaghanwa Onwigbolu, 32; Nigerian Mbaneto Sopuluchukwu, alias “Hermann Kurt Philipp,” 22, and Judith Balaquiao-Camacho, 46.
Onwigbolu was arrested by anti-narcotics police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Zone 3, Triangulo yesterday.
Recovered from the suspect were 200 grams of suspected shabu worth P400,000; one knot tied of ice plastic containing suspected shabu worth P1,360,000, and another P16 million worth of suspected shabu.
Sopuluchukwu and Camacho were arrested on Black Saturday on Evangelista St., Barangay Dinaga. Seized from the suspects was suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P680,000. (Nino Luces)
