WHILE others are only too vocal taking on the challenge of replacing Liza Soberano as Darna, others, like Yen Santos, remain coy about it.
During a recent interview, we asked the star of the hit Kapamilya primetime series “Halik” if she is interested in the part.
She said, “Ay, naku! Baka po puwedeng ako na lang ‘yung bato?”
Quizzed further, she intoned, “Feeling ko po, hindi po iyon para sa akin.”
In any case, Yen is already busy doing a film.
“It’s called, ‘To Love You.’ Sana makapasok po siya sa PPP (Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino).”
Having worked on “Halik” for so long, Yen is now longing for a vacation.
“Pero ‘yung nga hindi pa po puwede,” she said. “Siguro after na mag-shoot ng film.”
Yen is sure she will miss her co-stars on the show.
“One year mahigit naming ginawa ‘yung show eh so, siyempre, ‘yung friendship nandun na,” she said.
Yen went on to thank the show’s fan for their support.
“Very thankful talaga ako at dahil sa kanila naging hit ‘yung show. Sobrang pasasalamat namin sa fans na talagang tinutukan nila kami from the very beginning to the end. Sana ‘wag sialng manawang sumuporta kahit ano project gawin namin in the future.” (ROBERT R. REQUINTINA)
