Senator Cynthia Villar topped the latest Argus Polls conducted last May 4-6. The national survey with six thousand (6,000) respondents from all over the nation with a margin of error at plus/minus 1.29 percent was released Thursday.
Senator Grace Poe took the second spot, followed by former Special Assistant to the President Bong Go at third.
Ex-PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa and former Senator Lito Lapid came close at 4th and 5th spot, respectively.
Senate hopefuls which followed in the 6th to 12th spot include three incumbent senators namely Koko Pimentel (6th), Sony Angara (9th) and Nancy Binay (10th); two returning ex-senators namely Pia Cayetano (7th) and Bong Revilla (12th) and two former local chief executives namely Imee Marcos (8th) and Francis Tolentino (11th).
With only four days before the actual elections on May 13, Senate hopefuls continue to gather support in the final stretch of the campaign.
