Malacañang has brushed off the new anti-Duterte video uploaded by Peter Joemel Advincula, more popularly known as “Bikoy,” saying that his credibility has already been tarnished.
In a statement, presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said that Advincula’s new video is a rehash of an old scam plan.
“His current remarks are a rehash of his 2016 scam plan against certain personalities of the previous administration as revealed by Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto who saw through his fraud as validated by the PNP chief Oscar Albayalde,” he said.
Panelo, however, questioned why some media outfits are still giving Advincula exposure even if the latter was already discredited.
“It is amusing that some media outfits are still providing media attention to Peter Joemel Advincula. Suffice it to state that Mr. Advincula, or alias ‘Bikoy,’ has been totally discredited as regards his allegations, his questionable character and dubious background,” he said.
“Like all lies, the sinister online videos have been stripped of its falsity and laid bare to the public its odiousness,” he added.
“As we have previously stated, the fraud has been undressed naked and the perpetrators unmasked.”
The Palace official said that they will still leave to the people if they want to believe the lies of Advincula. “We leave to our countrymen their judgement on this attempt at vilification and outright travesty,” Panelo said.
