A total of 351 adults and minors were rounded up by the Northern Police District for violating ordinances in the Caloocan City, Malabon City, Navotas City, and Valenzuela City area from Friday to early yesterday morning.
They were arrested for drinking in public, smoking, half-naked in public, violating curfew, and being involved in riots or gang wars.
Fifty-one were arrested in Caloocan, five in Malabon, and seven in Navotas for drinking in public while 34 in Caloocan and 41 in Navotas were nabbed for smoking in public. No violators were arrested in Malabon and Valenzuela.
Twenty, eight, and three were caught half-naked in public places in Caloocan, Malabon, and Navotas, respectively.
Thirty-eight minors in Caloocan, 53 in Malabon, and 12 in Navotas were rounded up for violating 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew.
Seventy were rounded up for participating in riots or gang wars in Valenzuela. No violators for other ordinances were recorded there.
Caloocan and Malabon had four and five arrests for gang wars, respectively. There were no violators for this in Navotas.
The NPD added that of 351 arrested, 228 were warned and 123 were fined.
The NPD had earlier netted 405 violators from Wednesday, May 15, to Thursday, May 16. (Dylan Afuang)
