An 18-year-old Grade 10 student was found dead with multiple stab wounds inside her rented apartment in Barangay Payatas B, Quezon City last Friday.
Police Lt. Col. Joel Villanueva, Quezon City Police Station 6 chief, said the victim, Allison Dacillo, 18, was dead for at least three hours prior to the discovery of her body at around 5 p.m.
A report from the QCPD Station 6 said a witness passed by Dacillo’s residence when she smelled odorous, prompting her to peep on the partially opened door of the house. She saw the bloodied body of the victim lying on her bed without a lower garment.
The witness immediately sought help from the owners of the apartment who relayed the incident to authorities.
Police said the victim had multiple stab wounds that caused her death.
Probers said that Dacillo, who was last seen at noon on the same day, was possibly attacked while sleeping as the house was in disarray.
The victim was living alone in the house as her parents were both working abroad, police said. (Alexandria San Juan)
