EDDIE Garcia is still fighting for dear life and valiantly so, according to Dr. Tony Rebosa, spokesperson for the actor’s family.
He debunked claims the family has ordered pulling life support off the veteran actor.
“As of the moment, wala pa pong decision. Definitely they don’t want to let go,” he shared via text message.
Garcia is still in critical condition and continues to be supported by a breathing apparatus as of press time.
“He’s on a ventilator, meaning sinu-suportahan lang yung paghinga niya,” said Rebosa adding, “The family would like to convey their gratitude to everybody who has been giving them full support, love and prayer.”
Meanwhile, Senator Grace Poe, whose father, the late great FPJ, was a close friend of Garcia, urged for more stringent safety measures during shooting of TV or movies scenes.
GMA-7 has vowed to continue investigating the incident. (RAMPADOR ALINDOG)
