Solo leader Kaya-Iloilo pummeled Mendiola, 6-3, on Wednesday to remain perfect in the Philippines Football League at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Ghanian striker Jordan Mintah produced a hat trick to give Kaya its fourth straight win in the league season.
Shirmar Felongco and Eric Giganto also scored as the reigning Copa Paulino Alcantara champions improved to 12 points, four clear of second-running Stallion-Laguna.
Stallion, on the other hand, was held to a scoreless draw by Green Archers United in the other game at Rizal Memorial to gain solo second with eight points.
Laguna is one above two-time defending champion Ceres-Negros and Green Archers.
