A former member of the Philippine National Police was gunned down by two motorcycle-riding gunmen while driving his passenger tricycle in Pasay City Saturday.
Police identified the victim as Darwin Cruz, 44, of Barangay 64, Pasay.
Investigation showed that the incident occurred at around 3:45 p.m. in front of a fast food chain on Arnaiz Ave. corner Zamora St.
Police said that Cruz was driving his passenger tricycle when two men on board a scooter appeared and opened fire at the victim, killing him immediately.
The suspects fled towards Edison St. in Makati City.
