Marvin Angeles scored two goals to power Green Archers United to a 3-0 drubbing of Air Force on Sunday in the Philippines Football League at the Binan Football Stadium in Laguna.
The former national team member broke a scoreless tie with goals in the 70th and 79th minutes before Ronnie Aguisanda added a third in the 84th to give Green Archers the maximum three points.
Green Archers moved to solo second with 10 points, two behind league-leading Kaya-Iloilo.
Air Force dropped at the bottom of the seven-team table with just one point in five matches.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s match between Global-Makati and Mendiola held at the same venue was abandoned.
The league was the organizational issues which falls under the responsibility of home team was cited as the reason for the abandonment.
