But wait there’s more!
Nag-iisip pa din kayo ng paraan kung paano bubunuin ‘yung amount na kailangan niyo for this semester or school year?
Kung naghahanap ka ng paraan, this article is for you.
APPLY AS A WORKING STUDENT
Most schools accept students to work for them in exchange for a discounted tuition or scholarship.
Usually they are in need of library assistants, secretaries, or administrative staff. The key to juggling work and study is time management. Besides, wala namang mahirap sa taong gusto makatapos at makatulong.
APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP GRANT
This is quite similar to financial aid. Ang pinagkaiba lang nito is that you are not working for the school, but you still get either 30 percent, 40 percent, 50 percent, up to 100 percent discount on your tuition.
Binibigay ito by the school, the government, or the barangay to students who are part of the Top 10 sa school na pinanggalingan nila or those who qualify in terms of their financial conditions and family’s financial status.
HAVE A PART-TIME JOB
Having a part-time job during your free time or when you are dismissed early from school wouldn’t hurt. Basta marunong ka mag balanse ng oras para kumita, then this is a great idea.
You can apply at fastfood chains and retail shops etc.
Some companies allow students to work for them. Puwede ka magbigay ng sarili mong schedule or they might require you a certain number of hours per week, kaya you need to be organized to fit both school and work at the same time.
START AN ONLINE BUSINESS
Do you know that you can sell any products online? The good thing about an online store is you do not have to hire anyone or pay for any monthly fee. It is practically for free. Instead of posting the latest places you went or food that you ate, you can make money by using your social media.
All you need to do is just follow these simple steps:
– Find a product that people want
– Source the product online
– Post the image on your social media account
– Take the order and receive payment via bank deposit or money remittance
– Ship it out through the reliable courier
ASK FOR HELP (USE SOCIAL MEDIA)
Kung hindi na kaya, wala namang masama kung hihingi tayo ng tulong sa pamilya o kaibigan, for the meantime. Be creative, I know of a student na nag-raise ng kanyang school fees online.
Bilang ganti, she is documenting ‘yung progress niya online para ipakita sa mga tumulong sa kanya how she is doing at kung saan napupunta ang kanilang tulong. Try your best to try the other options and you can use this as your last resort.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY
What are your strategies to raise money for your tuition? Are you willing to exert extra effort to reach the finish line?
