LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – Ang Probinsiya Rep. Alfred delos Santos is in hot water after allegedly punching a waiter in a fastfood on July 7 in Legazpi City, Albay.
The victim, Christian Kent Alejo, 20, filed a complaint with the police alleging that around 3:40 a.m., the suspect punched him without any apparent reason at the Biggs Diner.
Alejo said he was able to avoid the punch.
The video of the punching incident was uploaded in the Internet and had gone viral.
Calls made to Delos Santos were not returned.
Bartolome Rayco, Alejo’s lawyer, said the victim is determined to pursue a case. “Desidido talaga yung pamilya na magsampa ng kaso,” Rayco said.
He said that they will charge Delos Santos with slight physical injury or maltreatment and grave misconduct or simple misconduct for administrative offense. (Niño Luces)
