An unidentified woman was found dead Thursday inside a room of an apartelle in Maypajo, Caloocan City.
According to a report, the woman checked in at the apartelle with an unidentified man at about 12:04 a.m.
A few moments later, the man was seen leaving. The front desk personnel tried to stop the man and asked him where his companion was, but he quickly fled.
The apartelle personnel then went to the room and knocked to check if the woman was still there.
When they did not receive any response, some of the room boys used a duplicate key to open the room. They found the woman lying on bed lifeless with her nose bleeding.
Police are now reviewing available close circuit television (CCTV) footage to identify the suspect.
