3:30 p.m. – Ceres vs Global
Ceres-Negros seeks its seventh straight win when it faces struggling rival Global-Makati in the Philippines Football League at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.
The two-time defending champion Busmen seek to secure another three points against Global in the 3:30 p.m. affair and strengthen their grip on top spot in the league competition.
Ceres is favored to beat Global after an 8-0 rout in their first meeting last June 1 at the same venue. The Busmen are also coming off a 12-0 demolition of Air Force over the weekend.
Once again expected to lead Ceres is the attacking duo of Bienvenido Maranon and Stephan Schrock.
Stallion-Laguna aims to regain third place opposite Air Force at home in the similar kickoff start at the Binan Football Stadium.
The Horsemen are out to rebound from a 1-0 loss to Kaya-Iloilo, a result that allowed Green Archers United to climb to third place.
