F2 Logistics stakes it immaculate record while Foton tries to stretch its winning run when they face separate foes today in the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Cargo Movers shoot for their eighth straight victory in their 2 p.m. opener against the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors while the Tornadoes gun for their fifth consecutive triumph in their 7 p.m. confrontation with the PLDT Home Fibr Spikers.
Defending champion Petron and Cignal clash at 4:15 p.m. with the former going for its 8th win in 9 games.
Eyes, however, will be on F2 Logistics after completing an 8-game sweep of the first round elims.
But the Cargo Movers are not taking the Lady Realtors lightly as the latter gave the Tornadoes a big scare before losing 18-25, 21-25, 25-18, 25-15, 15-4.
Kalei Mau and Aby Maraño are expected to be at the forefront of F2 Logistics’ charge along with Ara Galang, Majoy Baron and Michelle Cobb in also duplicating their 25-15, 25-14, 25-21 first-round triumph over Sta. Lucia.
The Lady Realtors, meanwhile, are not losing hope in regaining their old form with Pam Lastimosa and Rachel Austero out to give another try to notch their second win.
Backstopped by the twin towers of Jaja Santiago and Dindin Manabat, Foton hopes to grab solo third.
