A 30-year-old man was injured after the vehicle he was driving fell from the second floor parking area of a hotel in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Friday morning.
Initial investigation revealed that the 4×4 Ford Ranger was driven by 30-year-old Rocky Pagaran Yabut.
The Eastern Police District (EPD) reported that a gray 4×4 Frord Ranger driven by Rocky Pagaran Yabut fell off the parking space of Malayan Plaza Hotel, landing on Topaz Road in Barangay San Antonio at around 11:25 a.m.
The vehicle was seen leaning on its driver side. Its front bumper and hood were shattered with its cover wide open. Other parts of the vehicle also scattered on the street.
Emergency rescue personnel, policemen and firefighters quickly responded to the area.
Pasig City Police chief Col. Rizalito Gapas said the driver’s left arm and left leg were fractured. He was rushed to Rizal Medical Center.
Gapas said they are still determining the cause of the vehicle’s fall. (Jhon Casinas)
