Generika-Ayala tries to keep itself inside the Top 4 while Marinerang Pilipinas hopes to end a series of misfortunes when they clash today in the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference at the Muntinlupa Sports Center.
Match is at 7 p.m. with the Lifesavers seeking their sixth win in 10 games while the Marinera Spikers hope to nail its first victory after losing their first seven matches.
A win for Generika-Ayala will also inch them closer to third-place Foton (7-3), the same squad that dealt them a 25-16, 26-28, 25-15 loss last Saturday.
While there is no reason to panic yet as far as Sherwin Meneses is concerned, the Lifesavers coach reminded his players to be wary at all times especially against a hungry team like Marinerang Pilipina.
Meneses said they are back on the drawing board following that defeat to Foton.
Taking charge of Generika-Ayala’s offense will be Patty Orendain, Fiola Ceballos and skipper Angeli Araneta, while Ria Meneses, Kath Arado and Bia General will man their defense.
Marinera, meanwhile, is coming off a 25-14, 25-22, 27-25 defeat to Cignal.
