A 19-year-old man who visited his detained brother was placed behind bars on Monday after taking a selfie with a “dirty finger” sign while cursing the cops inside a police station in Quezon City.
Lt. Col. Camlon Nasdoman, chief of Quezon City Police District’s La Loma Police Station, said suspect Mark Jhun Ejorcadas, of Barangay Apolonio Samson, is now under their custody for unjust vexation.
According to Nasdoman, the suspect went to their station at the corner of Mayon and Malaya Streets in Barangay N.S. Amoranyo around 10:35 a.m. to visit his elder brother who was detained for robbery.
While inside the station, a duty officer saw Ejorcadas snapped a selfie at the back of some police officers posing with a “rock and roll” sign and then flashed a “dirty finger”.
The teenager even uttered “fuck the police” which was heard by other police officers inside, the report added.
Ejorcadas’ actions annoyed the policemen who immediately apprehended him.
The cops confiscated from the suspect his mobile phone where they saw his photos inside the station. (Alexandria San Juan)
