A former reality show contestant who was involved in a fistfight inside a bar was arrested after he allegedly tried to bribe policemen apprehending him in Makati City early yesterday morning.
Actor Karlos Lorenzo “Kenzo” Gutierrez, 22, was collared by Makati policemen in a bar on Pasong Tamo St. in Barangay Magallanes at around 1:20 a.m.
Gutierrez was a former contestant of the ABS-CBN reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” teen edition in 2015 in which he was tagged as “Astig Athlete ng Quezon City.”
Police Major Gideon Ines Jr., Makati police Investigation Unit chief, said Gutierrez reportedly resisted arrest and even tried to bribe the policemen trying to apprehend him.
“Our policemen were offered P2,000 each. They were about to arrest him as he was engaged in a fight inside a bar,” Ines said.
Gutierrez, according to responding policemen, cursed at them as they were trying to pacify him.
“He reportedly kept on cursing at our policemen. He was very unruly,” he said.
The young actor even reportedly challenged the policemen to a fistfight.
Gutierrez was reportedly very drunk when the incident transpired.
“He was very wasted when he arrived here at the police station,” Ines said.
