BACOLOD CITY – A Grade 11 senior high school student was shot and stabbed to death by four unidentified men on board two motorcycles in Barangay Bolocboloc, Sibulan, Negros Oriental last Thursday.
Killed was Joshua Philip Partosa, 20, a resident of Barangay Bolocboloc.
Initial investigation showed that the victim, along with his two siblings, were on their way to school when one of two motorcycles passed by him and one of the suspects fired his gun at him twice.
Partosa ran but the two other assailants on board the other motorcycle chased him and one of them also fired his gun at him three times.
The victim fell to the ground and was stabbed on the neck by the gunman’s companion.
Partosa was pronounced dead in a hospital.
Police are eyeing grudge as the motive behind the killing after the victim was linked to a stabbing incident in the province last month. (Glazyl Masculino)
