Two alleged drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the police yesterday in Sampaloc, Manila.
The police identified the suspects as Jerome de Jesus, 18, dishwasher, resident of Jocson St., Sampaloc, and Mark Lestes Daniel Teaño, 28, construction worker, and resident of V. Francisco St., Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Investigation showed that elements of Manila Police District Station 4 (Sampaloc) received a tip from a concerned citizen that there was an alleged illegal drug activity on Lardizabal St., Barangay 416, Zone 42, Sampaloc, at around 1:30 a.m.
Police planned a buy-bust operation and arrested the suspects.
Recovered from them were one sachet of suspected shabu and one brown plastic pipe containing partly burnt leaves of suspected marijuana. (Erma Edera)
