Christmas came early to a lone bettor after winning the P50-million jackpot prize of Super Lotto 6/49 during Sunday night’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.
The lone winner, who placed the bet at an outlet in Baclaran, Parañaque City, luckily picked the winning combination of 35-38-09-17-10-15. The lottery game had a total winning prize of P50,305,924.40.
However, the winner will not take home the entire amount for the government will deduct a 20 percent tax from the total jackpot prize as mandated by the TRAIN Law. About P10 million will be deducted from the total winning prize.
Meanwhile, the PCSO said a lone bettor bagged the P280,000 consolation prize of Ultra Lotto 6/58 after hitting five out of the six winning combinations.
Unfortunately, nobody won the P55,515,935 jackpot prize of the lotto game which had a winning combination of 55-44-05-16-15-54, said the charity agency.
To claim the prize, the winner must go to the PCSO’s main office on Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City, and present two valid IDs. The bettor should also bring his/her tickets. (Jhon Casinas)
