ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two notorious drug dealers were arrested Sunday night by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and confiscated from their possession 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million here.
PDEA Director Edgar T. Jubay said the buy-bust operation was conducted with the aid of the Zamboanga City police Office at about 6 p.m.
Jubay said the operation was conducted in front of a fastfood restaurant on La Purisima Street in Barangay Zone 3, Zamboanga City.
He identified the two drug dealers as Omar Mhuktar Mahamud, 40, farmer; and Alih Jain, 40, vendor.
According to Jubay, the illegal substance was placed in one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet and has a market value of P3.4 million. (Nonoy E. Lacson)
