Three men were shot dead by three motorcycle-riding gunmen on Christmas Day in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City.
Investigators of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified the victims as Juvy Largo, 29; Lloyd Agucay, 29; and their companion only known as “Manong,” who was in his 50s, all residents of Barangay Commonwealth
According to Agucay’s brother, Virgilio, he was watching television inside their house on Liñada Street around 6 p.m. when he heard gunshots outside.
Minutes later, Virgilio said that he saw his brother swiftly running inside their house and hid in the comfort room, prompting him to confront the victim.
Upon asking Agucay what happened, he noticed that his brother sustained a gunshot wound in his chest.
Agucay was rushed by his siblings to Fairview Medical Center where he later died.
Meanwhile, barangay officers who received the report on the shooting responded to the scene where they saw Largo and Manong slumped bloodied on the ground.
Witnesses said three men, all wearing helmets and onboard a motorbike, arrived and repeatedly shot the victims.
Initial police investigation showed that Agucay was jailed for illegal drugs. He was released in April.
