I hope you have some time to read my message. I would like to ask for your help or advice how should I tell this to my parents. Sabi nyo po na may cases na one-night stand pregnancies. Hindi po nagwork yung naging relationship ko sa guy pero po I’m pregnant. Ano po ba usual cases ng one-night stand pregnancies? Tipong nahahanap pa po ba ng girls yung guy na naka-do nila that night? Nasa tamang edad naman na rin po siguro ako para magbuntis (32 na po ako.. haha!). Wala pa akong nasasabihan gusto ko lang po talaga mailabas ito. Salamat po!

Thank you for reaching out and trusting me with your story, and though it can be nerve-wracking given your situation, I still want to congratulate you on your pregnancy! Nakakagulat talaga at nakakatakot na malaman na buntis ka after one night of sexy time, lalo na kung hindi ito kasama sa mga plano mo. Pero, like what you said, nasa tamang edad ka na naman para mabuntis, kaya I have faith that you’ll be able to pull it through.
Totoo naman na may nabubuntis during one night stands, hindi ka nag-iisa. Having a one night stand is not a way to not get pregnant. Basta may vaginal penetration ay mayroon nang risk of becoming pregnant, lalo na kung walang ibang form of contraception involved. As for finding the father, it really depends on the woman. It may be useful for you to reflect kung bakit gusto mo pa siya hanapin. Alamin mo rin kung anong magagawa ng paghahanap sa kaniya for you and your baby. Think it through muna and weigh the costs and benefits depende na rin siguro sa pagkakakilala mo sa lalaking ito.
It also may be useful to ask for your friends and family for help during this time. Baka nga mas maiging sabihin mo na ang sitwasyon mo sa kanila. You did say na you’re at the right age and you have your responsibilities straight. Hence, there’s no reason for them not to understand you and help you get through this.
And lastly, I do hope you’ve scheduled your visit to the OB. Para mas maintindihan mo ang nangyari sayo, it might be a good idea to ask you doctor.
