Defending champion Arellano University and San Beda put their unbeaten streaks on the line in the NCAA Season 95 Women’s Volleyball Tournament today at The Arena in San Juan City.
The Lady Chiefs and the Lady Red Spikers clash at 12 noon.
University of Perpetual Help System Dalta takes on Jose Rizal University in the day’s other women’s match at 2 p.m.
Arellano dropped a set for the first time this season but was still able to beat San Sebastian, 25-17, 25-18, 25-27, 25-13, to improve its record to 4-0 and tie College of St. Benilde on top of the standings last Saturday.
San Beda repulsed Letran, 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17, last Friday to also remain perfect at 3-0 this season.
Expect an exciting game between the two as the Lady Chiefs are the league’s best spiking and receiving team while the Lady Red Spikers are top in serving and digging this season.
Regine Arocha will lead Arellano while Cesca Racraquin will banner San Beda.
Yanca Tripoli and Jhona Rosal will be the vital cogs for the Lady Altas as they try to improve their 3-1 card.
