MOMOLAND singer Nancy McDonie belied rumor “Soulmate Project,” her much-talked about show with James Reid, has been cancelled by powers that be.
Directed by Antoinette Jadaone, the show was announced among ABS-CBN’s major productions this year.
It was mired in controversy with James supposedly backing out of the same due to then girlfriend Nadine Lustre allegedly getting jealous of Nancy.
During a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Nancy shared the show is pushing through, relating how they are now actually already preparing for it.
“I started doing workshops (when I was last in Manila). Now, there are workshops planned with James,” she revealed.
The 19-year-old added shooting for the show will start next month here and in Korea.
“So, I’m going to stay here for a while,” she said.
She is mum, however, beyond that.
“I can’t tell you much, but I can tell you that my character is Korean-American who lives in the Philippines,” she said.
She is aware that many are excited to watch the show.
“I actually saw a lot of comments and people really are happy about this, so I’m really happy for you guys, too.”
