Twin brothers and a woman were arrested after they yielded shabu during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday night in Barangay Ibabang Iyam, Lucena City.
Police Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, city police chief, identified the suspects as Jordan, 24; his twin brother Jonathan Pilar; and Jhuzel Saliba, 22, all residents of said village.
Albacea said that a team composed of operatives from city and provincial drug enforcement and intelligence units, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted a buy-bust operation after receiving information from the villagers about the illegal activity of the trio.
The suspects were placed under arrest after they sold shabu to a poseur-buyer.
Confiscated from the suspects were 10 plastic sachets containing 2.34 grams of shabu worth P15,912, and the marked money, police said. (Danny Estacio)
