Police said 33-year-old Mark Anthony Cabiso of San Juan City sought their assistance after two unidentified armed men suddenly approached and held him up while he made a stop somewhere along Quirino Highway in Novaliches around 1:40 a.m.
Cabiso told authorities that his belongings, including his Yamahan Mio motoryclce, were forcibly taken away, prompting him to report the incident to officers of nearby Quezon City Police Station 4.

Police went to the place to verify the report. They were about to approach the two men upon seeing them, but the duo immediately opened fire at them.
The lawmen retaliated and killed the suspects instantly.
Recovered from the scene were the stolen motorcycle, a handgun, several fired cartridge cases of various firearms, and a bag containing the victim’s belongings, police said.
