RECOMMENDED VIEWING: Now that families are at home due to enhanced community quarantine and children have so much time on their hands, parents can use this downtime to monitor their children’s viewing fare.
One of the programs we can recommend is GMA-7’s Sunday show, “Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.”
The program, hosted by 50s movie queen Gloria Romero, is known for entertaining stories that cater to children.
These stories are also rich in values and life lessons.

WINNERSARATINGS: GMA happily announced that ratings-wise, “Lola Ko” is a winner, too. Its recent ‘The Witches’ episode starring Mikee Quintos and Jo Berry scored 14.4 per cent based on data from Nielsen. Due to the current halt in production work, “Lola Ko” has been airing replays of its most loved episodes.

MORE PRAYERS: While we’re at it, we hope and pray that our “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko” host, Gloria Romero, has fully recovered from a recent sickness. Glo was indisposed for a few weeks.
We also pray for the repose of the soul of a colleague in the movie industry, Menggie Cobarrubias, who died at 66 due to lung complications.
We hope our seniors, actors included, shall be kept safe and away from the corona virus that has been hitting people worldwide like a plague.
Thank God, one of our best actors, Christopher de Leon, has recovered after having tested positive for COVID-19.
