CAROL Banawa, who once made a career making people swoon singing love songs including classic like “Iingatan Ka” and “Bakit ‘Di Totohanin,” among others, is now among frontliners battling the dreaded COVID-19 in the US.
On Saturday, Carol took to Instagram to share a photo of her wearing protective equipment.
She wrote as caption, “Just got word that I will be floating out of my home unit starting next week to train and help out other units in the next few weeks…
“Preparing for the incoming surge of covid patients. Grateful to receive this added protection just in time. Here we go,” she added.
Many of her fans were ultimately proud.
“You shine brighter than ever,” said one.
“Most proud of you ate Carol,” said another.
“Keep safe,” reminded yet another fan.
Carol has been living in the US with her husband and two kids for years now.
She earned her nursing degree after finishing summa cum laude at the Northern Virginia Community College in Washington D.C. in 2018.
She became a registered nurse in the US the same year.
