A National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) official has been released from a hospital after recovering from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The NBI spokesman, however, declined to identify the official and his rank.
“Just this morning I got a text na nakarecover siya, but under monitoring pa rin siya,” Lavin sid.
Lavin said the NBI official has been confined for over two weeks at the hospital before being released.
He noted that the NBI official initially went to the hospital due to his heart condition.
“While he was there, naka-acquire siya ng virus and so it took him more than two weeks dun,” Lavin said.
