Hello Ms Rica,
Through following you, nadiscover naming mag-asawa ng vaginal contraceptive film or VCF. Curious lang ako on its effectiveness. Our contraceptive of choice is using a condom. Medyo takot kaming mag-asawa as we do not want to risk a new baby but I think we want to enjoy more skin to skin contact too to enhance our sexual relationship.
Pa-enlighten naman more on this please. Alin ba ang mas effective?
Thank you,
Film Star
Hello Film Star,
Thank you for following me and I am glad na I can help and give information about sex and relationships. Magandang nageexplore kayo ng other options of contraception to enhance your sexual satisfaction. I understand that contraceptive films are new to our society and talagang may inhibitions toward it.
Ang VCF kasi is a thin soluble film (parang yung mga breath films na tinutunaw sa bibig) na nilalagay sa loob ng vagina 15 minutes before sexual encounter. Ito ay filled with spermicide at nalulusaw sa loob ng vagina. Pinapatay nito ang sperm by separating the head of the sperm kaya hindi na ito nakakalangoy towards the egg. Isang film lang ang gagamitin mo for each round of ejaculation. At itong film na ito ay good for three hours from insertion.
Usually, this is used as a backup with other birth control methods like the calendar method or withdrawal to enhance the effectiveness. Pero as it is, 94 percent effectiveness ang VCF especially with correct use. Condoms, on the other hand, prove to be 98 percent effective. The advantage of condoms is that it protects both parties from STIs. That is why contraceptive films are preferred by monogamous relationships as they only have sex with one partner.
Pwedeng trial and error ang pagse-select ng contraception method as you want to consider ang comfort levels ninyo ng partner mo. Try what feels good, accessible and affordable for you guys. Always enjoy and be safe in more ways than one!
With love and lust,
Rica
