Here’s proof why the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are head and shoulders above everyone else.
As the world is on lockdown owing to the pandemic, Pacquiao and Mayweather still manage to get dressed for training to make sure their weight remain in check.
But it is actually more than that.
What they’ve been showing lately on social media is testament to their high competition drive.
Pacquiao and Mayweather, whose superfight almost five years ago generated $600 million in revenue, are nowhere near signing up for a rematch despite the clamor.
But the fact that they have been training shows how special they truly are.
Pacquiao, 41, remains quarantined in his Dasmariñas Village residence where he has been working out almost daily.
Mayweather, 43, has been to his own gym in Las Vegas lately as well, looking sharp and fit.
Told about Mayweather’s training, Pacquip just let out a hearty laugh as if he knows something others don’t.
But with COVID-19 taking over the lives of everyone, it doesn’t look as though they are on a collision course.
It’s just that. Plain and simple.
Pacquiao is a fitness freak which is why he is the only fighter to win eight world titles in as many weight classes.
Mayweather, meantime, has kept his record unscathed with 50 wins, his list of victims littered with big names like Oscar De La Hoy, Canelo Alvarez, Shane Mosley,
Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, and of course, Pacquiao.
