President Duterte hit former Senator Antonio Triallnes IV fortaking a swipe at him last week, saying he will order his driver to slap hisstaunchest critic because Trillanes is no better than a driver.
Duterte made the statement as he led the Inter-agency Task Force(IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases meeting Thursdaynight but was aired Friday morning.
In his remarks, Duterte said Trillanes keeps on criticizing thegovernment’s efforts to contain the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemicwhen the former lawmaker himself does not know anything.
“Walang alam na ugok ito si Trillanes,” he said.
“Nagsasalita ng trillion-trillion, trillion na hangin,” headded.
The President likewise recalled Trillanes’s tweet, warning Dutertethat he will hit his head for asking for the former Senator’s contribution inthe fight against COVID-19.
“Batukan mo raw ako? Sabihin ko sa driver ko sampalin ka,” hesaid.
“Ang driver ko lang ang utusan ko, hanggang diyan ka lang. Angtingin ko sa ‘yo ka-level mo driver, ulol,” he added. (Argyll Cyrus B.Geducos)
