LOCKED DOWN IN ANILAO: A day before Metro Manila went on community lockdown on March 15, Piolo Pascual hauled his family to his country home in Mabini, Batangas.
“We felt it would be too confining to stay in Manila,’’ the veteran actor told photographer Raymund Isaac on the vlog, Chickahan sa Quarantine.
Piolo and fam are spending the entire ECQ in Anilao, where he hikes uphill and starting a vegetable garden.

LONG WALKS UPHILL: The days spent on lockdown have allowed Piolo plenty of me time.
“I miss myself in a private way,’’ he said.
Walking takes the place of his regular exercise routine in the city, which includes gym work and badminton.
“I’m a sucker for training, it’s something that I miss,’’ he said.
Asked by a foreign viewer about his abs and biceps, Piolo downplayed that famous side to his image by saying he can do more than show more.
Laughing out loud, he joked, “I’d like to think I’m more than just a piece of meat.’’

GRAY HAIR AND ALL: Recent posts capture a few strands of gray hair sprouting on Piolo’s crown. He is not bothered about it.
“I’m proud of my gray hair. They remind me of what I’ve been through and how far I have gone,’’ he said philosophically.
