WE are among those hugely disappointed with the continued implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) if only because it only served to further interrupt Sunshine Guimary’s rise to national notice.
For those not in the know, Sunshine is a Cebu-based looker who had already garnered more than considerable attention on social media following her constant effort to flaunt her near-naked self on Instagram earning millions of admirers in the process.
She was set to be launched by Viva Artists Agency (VAA) as a sexpot and was already scheduled to undergo acting workshops but for the sudden implementation of the ECQ.
We’re glad though that she continues to exercise her right to show off her curves on Instagram, allowing us continued enjoyment through this pandemic.
In our interview with the 25-year-old, she claimed to not being interested in pursuing acting at all.
She only acquiesced to great fan demand.
“Kahit dati hindi ko pangarap na maging artista. Masaya na ako sa social media. Pero yung mga followers ko mismo kasi sila yung nag-a-ask na magartista ako. Marami talaga silang nagpu-push sa akin.”
Even before Viva asked her to sign on the dotted line, Sunshine was already offered a role in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsiyano.”
“Hindi ko ino-ohan. Medyo natakot ako. Biglaan e. Ayun napunta sa iba yung role. I think si Ivana (Alawi) ang kinuha nila.”
After seeing Ivana blast to fame, Sunshine realized she might have let go of a great opportunity. Thankfully, Viva gave her a call and she finally decided to give it a try.
“Nung tinawagan ako ng Viva sabi ko subukan ko lang. Tsaka siyempre, Viva na yan, e.”
And how far will she go to attain renown? “Mahirap magsabi pero siguro ano, kahit ano sabihin ng Viva gagawin ko, tutal andito na ako.”
For sure.
