FOUR men were arrested for transporting around 30 boxes of alcoholic beverages in two separate operations amid a city-wide liquor ban in Manila last Wednesday.
First to be arrested were Christian Joel Petalver, 22; Joey Mark Mallari, 26; and Marion John Lauz, 29; all residents of Tondo, Manila.
The Manila Police District Special Mayor’s Reaction Team arrested the suspects on Lacson Ave. corner P. Florentino St. in Sampaloc at around 2:30 p.m.
Less than two hours later, members of the MPD Station 6 (Sta. Ana) arrested Julius Maniago, 21, resident of Paco, Manila.
Maniago was driving a car when he was flagged down by police on Tejeron corner A. Francisco St. in Sta. Ana.
