Products of La Salle University women’s volleyball program on Monday joined hands once again in their efforts to help the country beat coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In a video compiled by former MVP winner Manilla Santos-Ng, the Lady Spikers showed their all-support for healthcare workers and other frontliners.
“We, the Lady Spikers, are once again united to aim our arrows in unity to fight this pandemic,” the team’s statement read.
“As one team, we fully support all our frontliners who are fighting the battle for all of us.
“Let us unite in prayer and help in any way we can to support our frontliners and our countrymen,” they added.
Other MVP winners who took part in the event calling for every Filipino to work as a team in this battle were Iris Ortega-Patrona, Desiree Hernandez, Aby Marano, Ara Galang and Majoy Baron.
Also paying tribute to the frontliners were Finals MVPs Michele Gumabao, Kim Dy, Des Cheng and Dawn Macandili.
Completing the star-studded cast were Joanne Siy, Melissa Gohing, Ivy Remulla, Kim Fajardo, Sher Penano, Michelle Datuin, Michelle Madarang, Soleil Yap, Kim Lee, Vanessa Yance, Sally Macasaet, Demelle Chua, Kat Gumabao, Miakka Lim, Paneng Mercado, Cyd Demecillo, May Luna, Gyra Barroga, Arriane Layug, Mika Reyes, and twins Camille and Cienne Cruz.
