The weekly Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum returns on June 2 after a four-month break under a new platform.
The two-part, Tuesday session will have two of the country’s top sports officials in Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez and Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham ‘Bambol’ Tolentino taking their turn discussing the current and future state of Philippine sports amid the global pandemic.
The 10 a.m. forum is going to be held via Zoom video conferencing – a first in the more than 70 years of the PSA – in deference to safety protocols and help ease the spread of the coronavirus.
PSA president Tito S. Talao of the Manila Bulletin said the sports program will be shown live via the PSA Facebook page fb.com/PhilippineSportswritersAssociation, simultaneously over the facebook and audiostreaming of Radyo Pilipinas 2.
The session is still presented by San Miguel Corp., Amelie Hotel, Braska Restaurant, the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), Go for Gold and powered by Smart.
